Oakleaf is aware of the need to consider the environment when sourcing products from overseas.

Oakleaf Aged products made in Europe are created using heat-treatment technology.

The aging treatment process only uses steam and heat, no chemicals or agents are applied to the timber during the process.

Tests have shown no harmful emissions are apparent when working with the timber. As an environmentally friendly product, any left over pieces of Oakleaf aged timber can be burnt or disposed of into the normal waste system.
